This 1958 Gibson ES225T is 100% original aside from the mid 1960's "reflector" knobs. This guitar features a great sounding P90 pickup, and a full 1958 neck profile. Other interesting features include the ES295 style tailpiece, center mounted pickup, and florentine cutaway. These 225Ts are an excellent way to get into the vintage guitar market without spending an absolute fortune.

1958 Gibson ES225T. Full of mojo & vibe from 66 years of enjoyment.
This example plays exceptionally well and has a perfect '58 neck shape. Internals are all original including P90 pickup, bumblebee capacitor, and potentiometers. Knobs have been changed to 1960's reflector style. The P90 really barks!! Really cool tailpiece which is reminiscent of the 1952 Les Paul tailpieces. Classic sunburst finish with lots of checking & ambering all over. There are a handful of nicks, dings, and some play wear. The original tuners function well, but the shaft of the G string shows a bend. This guitar would really come back to life with a good buff, but we chose to leave it as is to show off the great patina. Included is the original Lifton hard shell case. The case has some paint splatter on the sides, and some marks inside the case. Overall a really great sounding, cool vintage guitar.
